HighDef vs Hell Dogs

So fist let me start by saying thank you to Smooth for finding me and inviting me to this clan. I have played sith some great guys and you have made my MAG experience better that is for sure. Max and Stalker I have not had the chance to play alot with you but what little I have you seem like a great group. Knowing that you are SOCOM alumn has me very excited about the group of guys HD is getting. That being said I have seen it brought up a few times that some of us love the Hell Dogs name that was yours with SOCOM. I understand the thinking that HighDef is more politically correct and will not limit the group you can have. However, I think that a "mature adult gamer" will not be offended by the Hell part. I know I am not and most of the people I have played with seem to not mind it either. I know there are ways around games not allowing Hell into the names so that is not a huge issue. Again most of the people I have played with are more suited towards a Hell Dog name than HighDef. I personally do not get that elite clan feeling from a HighDef, not to mention the amount of times I have been asked what HD stands for and tried to explain HighDef Gaming and why that is our name and make it fit...? I would like to start a poll to see what everyone thought about going with Hell Dogs. Partly because I think it sounds cool, but also to pay respect to those who brought us together. Max and Stalker I totally understand that it is your decision in the end and it is your name. So, please offer your thoughts and ideas. HD is growing very fast and coming from SOCOM I can relate to what playing a game with the same group of guys can do for friendship. Sadly Max and Stalker are all that is left of Hell Dogs today however the new group can expand on that foundation and grow it into a well known clan. We have a reputation in MAG already. The core of guys playing seem to be the right kind to grow the name.

I agree. I like HellDogs. HighDef Gaming is a great name to, but with all that HellDogs meant to our leaders I would love to see us go with the HellDogs.

Just my opinion.

I like HellDogs better as well. It suits our players much better I think.
