So GameInformer, my magazine of choice, gave Red Dead a 9.75. Now I usually go with what GameInformer say's when it comes to stuff like this so I will most definitely get the game. As soon as I see the review posted I will put it up here.

So now that the game is out....

Day 1- Sever problems late in the night. Before that the game play is fun. Free roam can be very dull if your alone. Playing with others in your posse can be fun. The posse vs posse game play has not quite started yet. I have had a small groupd shoot out with another in free roam which is very fun.
The rank system is very nice alot of stuff to do to open characters and other items.
SP is great but we all figured it would be coming from Rockstar. (can't wait to hog tie someone to the train tracks )
All the pre-order stuff is not loading yet so that sux but they have already solved that for the xbox and the PS3 fix should be today or tomorrow.

**On a side note Baka and Saturn sorry I did not catch up with you guys last night I was kinda just sitting in free roam most of the night while watching the ball game so I was not actually playing.

I know that Baka asked me how to invite friends last night so,

first hit SELECT, the R1 to go to players (this will show you anyone in your session; you will be able to invite to a posse here), Hit TRIANGLE to see your FL, this will send them an invite to your session. Once a posse leader is set he/she will be in charge of invites and setting waypoints for all to see. You can also spawn to them to make travel faster.

Also on a side note. This game has different difficulty setttings. Playing on casual allows you to have auto targeting. You do not gain as much XP from it but the difference in XP is small but the help is HUGE! I had some trouble aiming last night and switched to the casual setting and my k/d went WAY UP! Some game modes will not allow to use it but free roam and casual game modes will. When you have challenges like killing birds or deer it can be a very big help.

Yes I have to admit this game is not what I was expecting, it is really fun, I took on some gangs on my own and got together with some other guys but looks like any of them had a mic. I can't wait to play with all of you guys.

And shadow, I found out about that selct button and R1 but I can only invite, I was wondering if there's a way to join a friend's game but it looks that there's not, also does somebody knows if there's a way to create a posse and name it(something like creating a mag clan) ?

But that aside I think is a really good game, just imagine all of our clan in a posse running riding around shooting people, so I'll be getting online late tonight but if somebody is on please send me an invite I'll look foward to it.

yeah no clan support persay...and you cannot join another players session unless your lucky and get into their session. I leave tomorrow for vacation and will not be bcak till next friday so I will catch you all then for sure untill then it will be hit or miss

Seems like most ppl are playing single player mode right now in RDR...Story line is great..I can see why. Can't wait to see more ppl in the online portion, been doing off and on, seems pretty fun, but can get boring when their are only 2 or 3 more ppl else playing..can't do the deathmatch, so you end up killing each other and the raiding the gang camps over and over again.

Hope to see some HD ppl to run around with.

I've been playing the single player mostly, trying to get used to the game and all that. So far I'm loving it though. And I love the western theme, I didn't realize how few western games there are out there, so it is a nice change of pace.

I'm gettin it next month so don't worry just a little tight on cash

I played some multiplayer last night with my brother and it was amazing. Having a posse full of us would be amazing. It's not what I was expecting but we got in a huge gunfight with another posse in Gaptooth Breach and it was pretty crazy. We ended up getting dominated because it was 3v8 and they were level 28s, but it was still pretty damn awesome.

Loving the game so far.

Yeah it took me forever to realize I need the lasso to bring in bounties alive....I thought I could punch them into submissions...and after my first 20 minute fist fight I realized there had to be a better way...

Ran into Sansom and Stalker last night...could hear them, but for some reason couldn't hear me..we got shot up by some guy name I eat shoes..but it was hella fun..we should hook up and attack the gang camps nice exp when you are 1st beginning..so you don't have to ride around on a donkey..but stalker seemed to like it for some odd reason

Stalker loves riding asses! LoL! I'll get this game probably Wed. (payday) and start playing with you guys.

Nice smooth ! , game is a lot of fun i just wish we could have more clan members on a posse.

Last night i played with saturn and i had a blast. We stole a wagon and he was driving and i was shooting, until he flipped it over on a bridge and we both fell down to a river and drowned ( nice going saturn my "butter fingers medal "goes to you ) but my point here is that when you can get togeter and play with some of your buddies the game is way more fun than playing alone or with randoms.
